Mixed Billing Practice
Rutledge Family Medical Centre is a mixed billing practice. This means that while some patients are eligible for bulk billing, others will incur a private fee. We value transparency and will always inform you of any costs prior to your appointment.

Bulk Billing Eligibility
We continue to bulk bill the following patients for standard consultations on weekdays between 8am and 5pm:
- Children under 16 years of age
- Pension Concession Card holders
- DVA Gold Card holders
- Health Care Card holders (at doctor's discretion)
- Care Plans and Health Assessments
- Government-funded immunisations
Payment Methods
Payment is required in full on the day of your appointment. We accept:

Medicare Rebates
We can process your Medicare rebate on the spot using our Tyro terminal. The rebate will be deposited directly into your nominated bank account within seconds.
Non-Attendance & Cancellation Policy
We understand that sometimes you may need to reschedule your appointment. We strictly require a minimum of 2 hours notice for cancellations. Failure to attend an appointment or cancelling within 2 hours may incur a non-attendance fee of $40.00, which is not rebateable by Medicare.
