Policies & Procedures

Your medical record is a confidential document. It is the policy of this practice to maintain security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorised members of staff. We abide by the Australian Privacy Principles.
Our doctors may be available to take calls during consulting hours, but in most cases, the receptionist will take a message and the doctor will return your call when they are free. We do not communicate with patients via email regarding clinical issues due to privacy concerns.
Patients are required to make an appointment to discuss test results. Reception staff are not medically trained and cannot provide results over the phone unless explicitly authorised by the doctor for simple matters (e.g., "normal results").
We take your feedback seriously. If you have any concerns about our service, please speak to your doctor or the Practice Manager. Alternatively, you may contact the Office of the Health Ombudsman if you feel your complaint has not been resolved.
